Position is responsible for delivering fully engineered network solutions targeted at supporting the business needs of the organization.

• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN) with a heavy emphasis on Cisco.
• Perform network maintenance and upgrades.
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Understanding of network protocols, OSI and TCP/IP models.
• Experience scripting with PowerShell, and or Python, PERL.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Maintain open communications on current project status, risks and challenges. 
• Be a recognized subject matter expert within fields of expertise.
• Ability to write technical and operational management documentation.
• Ability to design, implement and managing highly available network solutions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations.
• Pursing CCNA certification or higher.

Infection Control: Initial and Ongoing training in dealing with infection control. Trainings could include but are not limited to, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids and bio hazardous materials as it applies to your daily work environment.

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Applicant should have 3+ years designing and implementing high available, scalable and reliable network solutions.
